Both CWI and TVCC have courses that may interest you during high school. From welding to Certified Nursing Assistant; drafting to early childhood education and many more areas of studies....your local community colleges may have what you are looking for to get a "jump start" during high school so you are able to join a competitve job market upon graduation. While there are balancing of classes and high school requirements, VCS's first students have completed CNA training, welding certification, Emergency Medical Technician, and CPR classes. New for 2019- Idaho has expanded its Advanced Opportunities funding to allow students to use $500 per course ($1,000 per year) of Advanced Opportunities funding towards workforce development classes that will be published on an approved list by the state ("Hot jobs"- jobs in demand) More information to come.....
